Three-cushion
What the free game is for hobby sports the three-cushion is for top sports. International tournaments with participants of many continents are transmitted by TV worldwide.
At three-cushion the playing ball has to touch minimum three cushions before hitting ball 3. This requires good basic ability. Series over 10 are also rare at champions.
If the playing ball touches another ball in stillstand (they are press) the player has the option to play the ball away or to position the pressing balls in initial state. The third ball stays at his position. If white and yellow are press, the playing ball is positioned at point 3 and the other at point 5. If white or yellow are press with red, the playing ball is positioned at point 3 and the red ball at point 1. Is one of the points occupied by the third ball, so he is positioned at the free point (but ever in the line 1 - 5 - 3.
If a ball leaves the table, the playing ball is positioned at the beginning point, so it is 2 or 4, the white or yellow not playing ball at point 5 and the red ball at point 1.
